The Only Way Forward

Two young Iranians climb arches in Engheleb Square and chant “Death to Dictator

On Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at 2:30 pm, two brave young Iranians climbed the arched statues of Enghelab Square amid heavy snow and in answer to the call for a public protest gathering, they held eachothers hands and cried ‘death to dictator’.

The crowd present in the square applauded them and that broke the atmosphere of fear that the regime has imposed on the city since yesterday.

Also, a crowd of 150 strong marched from Tajrish Square to Vanak Square. while singing the unity song of students ‘Yare Dabestani’ and the anthem of resistance ‘Iran the land with high values and assets.’
