حمله جمع اندکی از نیروهای سازمان دهی شده به مهدی کروبی و همراهانش /Group of organized thugs threaten Karroubi

Hossein Karroubi (Mehdi Karroubi’s son) informed that Mehdi Karroubi was attacked by a small group of organized thugs after attending the funeral of one of his old friends at Ghoba Mosque in Tehran. This group that was shouting “death to the opposition of the supreme leader” also threatened the members of the public, who were supporting and accompanying Mehdi Karroubi, with guns and tear gas.

In his remarks, Hossein Karroubi also pointed out that all the attackers in that group were wearing the same kind of shoes that belongs to Revolutionary Guards( IRGC).  He also added that a special group called “the devoted forces of the supreme leader’s guards” or NOPO has been created by the IRGC, that in his opinion, is responsible for most of the recent events and has been created for this very reason.

Mehdi Karroubi has been attacked by the armed militia and organized thugs several times over the last year for his leadership and efforts in support of the people’s Green Movement and the last previous attack on him was during his visit to the holy city of Qom and while meeting Grand Ayatollah Saanei and being a guest at the home of this Shi’a Maraja and the supporter of Green Movement.
